About Me!

My passion is music and singing. Trained formally in voice, piano, and oboe throughout my younger years, and a graduate of Humber College’s Music Composition graduate certificate program, I have sung in (and lead) various choirs, performed with the New Westminster Musical Theatre Guild, teach Musical Theatre, piano, and voice, and compose from my private studio in Toronto, Ontario. From 1998 to 2018, I was the director of the Roncesvalles Gospel Choir and have written and directed many original children's musicals at Roncesvalles United Church. From 2012 to 2017, I was the music director and vocal instructor at Broadway Arts Centre in Toronto, and I have recently started music directing in small professional musical theatre productions (Hamilton Fringe, No Strings Theatre Company) in the GTA. I perform frequently in local festivals and clubs with my folkgrass ensemble North of Queen, my folk duo Bass Case, and also sing with Toronto’s premiere rock choir, newchoir. I am an award-winning songwriter (Songdoor, Song of the Year, ISSA, GIA Sacred Music Competition) and arranger and my works have been performed by choirs and ensembles all over the world.
