Glory to the Newborn King (a partner song with Hark the Herald Angels Sing for unison/2 part choirs)

This traditional Christmas carol has been arranged as a beautiful partner song by adding a new individual melody, which can then be sung in harmony as a counterpoint to the original song. Set in an accessible key (C3 - D5), it is mostly unison singing, with the 2-Part partner song to finish. An optional Alleluia counter-melody can be added as an optional descant in the final verse or played by a C instrument such as flute, oboe, glockenspiel, or violin. Perfect for Christmas concerts for church, school or community choirs, it is a great way to introduce harmony to unison choirs! Piano accompaniment and chords are notated; approximate performance time is 2:55. BONUS! FREE Piano accompaniment track !
