2024 has been an exciting year so far, and I hope it continues! Highlights include a workshop of Act I of the new choral musical that I am composing (my daughter Kathleen Mills is writing the libretto) based on the story of The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen in March, my student Sophie T won her class at Toronto Kiwanis music festival and was a provincial finalist, and I wrote a LOT of new choral music! Now, after a quiet summer, the studio is back in action, and I'm diving back in to composing for choirs and for The Snow Queen!
